Kimmel in Biden fundraising pitch: I host a TV show that ‘Trump hate-watches’

Jimmy Kimmel is highlighting his rancorous relationship with former President Trump in a fundraising pitch for President Biden and Democrats, boasting that he hosts a show that the former president “hate-watches.”

“Hi, it’s Jimmy Kimmel,” the ABC late-night TV host said in a Thursday email sent by the Biden Victory Fund.

“I host a ‘poorly rated’ show on TV that Donald Trump hate-watches,” he added, before making an appeal to donors to win a trip to a star-studded Biden campaign fundraiser this month in Los Angeles featuring him, George Clooney and Julia Roberts.

“Trump will hate this, so let’s do it!” the email signed by Kimmel said.

“Our democracy may not survive another four years of a Trump presidency,” the comedian said. “As our President might say ‘That’s no joke, man.'”

The host regularly skewers Trump on his show, “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” He and the former commander in chief have also engaged in a long-running war of words: Trump has slammed Kimmel as “dumb” and called his TV ratings “terrible.”

In March, Kimmel responded live onstage at the Academy Awards to a social media post from Trump criticizing his hosting skills at the annual Hollywood ceremony.

“Has there ever been a worse host than Jimmy Kimmel at the Oscars?” Trump asked on Truth Social.

“Isn’t it past your jail time?” Kimmel quipped.
