Meanwhile others were quick to praise Charles' ease with the public. admiring comment read: "I love how happy King Charles is to interact with people," "King Charles is just so wonderful with people," agreed another.

Adding to the praises, one stated: "He's so good man."

Charles enjoyed his second state birthday celebration at the Trooping the Colour this weekend (Saturday, June 15). The King made his appearance on the famous Buckingham Palace balcony along with Queen Camilla, Prince William, Kate Middleton and the Waleses' three children.

Prince Edward and Sophie, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, were in attendance with their daughter, Lady Louise, although their son, James, Earl of Wessex, was not there. Also missing from the event were Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who have not been seen at Trooping the Colour since 2022.

Before the event, there was much speculation about whether Kate, who is undergoing cancer treatment like Charles, would be able to join. Fans were overjoyed when she confirmed her attendance the day before.

Ahead of the event, she expressed: "I have been blown away by all the kind messages of support and encouragement over the last couple of months. It really has made the world of difference to William and me and has helped us both through some of the harder times."

She continued: "I am making good progress, but as anyone going through chemotherapy will know, there are good days and bad days. On those bad days you feel weak, tired and you have to give in to your body resting."

"But on the good days, when you feel stronger, you want to make the most of feeling well. My treatment is ongoing and will be for a few more months."
