With Prince Harry poised for a UK return, he's reportedly extended an olive branch to King Charles, seeking a meeting with the monarch during his visit. The Duke of Sussex is set to be present at St.

Paul's Cathedral for a service marking a decade since the inception of the Invictus Games, the sporting event for wounded veterans that he established in 2014.

While no senior royals are expected to join Harry at this significant anniversary celebration, it's understood that he has nonetheless reached out to King Charles with hopes of catching up while on British soil. Their last encounter was brief, occurring in London shortly after Charles had started treatment for cancer, and before he retreated to Sandringham for recovery.

When Harry approached his father about a potential meet-up, sources reveal that King Charles responded with a succinct four-word reply, indicating his willingness 'if he is able'.

"Harry has kept in regular contact with his father on several occasions and made no secret of his desire to see him when he can," a source disclosed. "He has been especially concerned about him and hopes the King will be well and able to see him as planned.", reports the Mirror.

Charles' medical team initially advised him to halt "public-facing engagements" due to his cancer treatment, however, he was able to continue with state affairs privately. Now, in what comes as a relief to the Royal family, King Charles' doctors have reassessed their previous advice, telling him he can conduct some public interactions as they are "sufficiently pleased with the progress made so far" by the King.

Although he won't be returning to full duties and any upcoming events will "remain subject to doctors' advice" states a palace spokesperson, his calendar for the next week is already brimming. However, despite his packed timetable, a Royal insider has asserted that King Charles fully plans to make time for Harry.

The monarch's personal schedule is being handled on an individual basis, with his health being central to his activities, but he and Harry have remained in touch since their reunion in February, and things have "remained positive" between them, claims a source.
