King Charles III Arrives in Paris For First State Visit to France Since Coronation

The United Kingdom’s King Charles III and French President Emmanuel Macron greeted spectators as they walked together down a Paris street on Wednesday, September 20, during the king’s first state visit to France since his coronation.

The visit was initially scheduled for earlier this year, but had been postponed due to ongoing protests across French cities, according to the Telegraph.

On Wednesday night, Macron hosted a state dinner for King Charles and Queen Camilla at the Palace of Versailles, with Mick Jagger and other celebrities in attendance, Le Parisien reported. Credit: Anonymous via Storyful
