Kings of Leon's Jared Followill Welcomes Baby No. 2 with Wife Martha: 'Witnessed a Miracle'

Jared Followill is a dad again!
The Kings of Leon bassist, 37, announced on Instagram on Tuesday, May 7, that he welcomed his second baby, daughter Charlotte Ann Followill, with his wife Martha on Friday, May 3. Sharing a carousel of photos from Martha's water birth, the newly minted dad of two took a moment to welcome his newborn in his caption.
"What a magical time. I just witnessed a miracle. Watching strength and bravery and toughness that will change me forever," the proud dad wrote. "I've never seen anything like it. My beautiful wife @marthafollowill just brought more life into this world."

Followill plays in Kings of Leon alongside his brothers and cousin — most notably Caleb Followill, who is married to Victoria’s Secret Angel Lily Aldridge. Aldridge left a comment on Followill's Instagram post, welcoming baby Charlie into the world.
"Welcome to the world beautiful girl 🤍🤍🤍," she wrote.
In 2020, Followill announced on social media that he'd welcomed his first baby with Martha. Posting a photo of the newborn‘s tiny foot peeking out from underneath a cream-colored blanket, the new dad wrote, “And then my life began … ”
He concluded by sharing their baby girl’s name and birth date: “Adeline James Followill / 1/21/20.”
The musician and his model girlfriend got engaged in April 2012 before tying the knot in an outdoor ceremony in Charlotte, Tennessee, that following September.
The longtime couple first announced they were expecting their first baby in July 2019, when Martha posted an Instagram photo of their dog Bonnie in bed with glasses on, reading a What to Expect When You're Expecting book.
“We’re ALL getting ready for January 2020 around here! ???” she captioned the post.
