Kirstie Allsopp slams 'Gogglebox' as 'mean' and 'cruel' TV
Kirstie Allsopp has lashed out at Gogglebox, calling it "mean” and “cruel” television.
The Location, Location, Location star said that the Channel 4 show was one of her “least favourite” things on the telly, reported The Sun.
The TV star apparently let rip during an interview with My Weekly magazine, saying that the programme – which sees people tuning in to various television shows and talking about them – was “the worst form of mean, cruel television”.

“It is one thing to talk about people in private but to put it in a public space is not entertainment,” she was quoted as saying.
It’s not the first time that Allsopp, 49, has made her feelings clear about Gogglebox, which airs on the same channel as her hit property show.
Back in 2013 she went on Twitter to share her thoughts after her programme Crafty Christmas was one of those that the Goggleboxers settled down to watch.
Allsopp told fans that watching her show get the Gogglebox treatment had been “stomach-churning”.

“Why do people complain about the BBC's ability to cannibalise itself? C4 win every time Gogglebox on #CraftyChristmas was stomach churning,” she wrote at the time.
