The following article contains discussion of fertility issues.

Kourtney Kardashian has shared a rare photo of her baby son Rocky on social media.

The reality star and husband Travis Barker welcomed the newborn back in November, later confirming his name and even sharing a series of sweet photos.

Kourtney has now posted a new picture on social media of herself cradling Rocky, whose face is turned away from the camera.

"Blisssss," the star captioned the post.

Travis confirmed the baby's name ahead of Rocky's birth last year, revealing the full title to be Rocky Thirteen Barker, joking it was in reference to Rocky Balboa.

The Blink-182 drummer previously told Complex: "I like Rocky Thirteen. That's this name that's just been going through my head lately.

"Rocky George played guitar for Suicidal Tendencies. And 13 is just the greatest number of all-time. And Rocky, the greatest boxing movie of all-time," he added.

Kourtney and Travis have previously opened up about their fertility struggles, the Kardashians star explaining back in September that she underwent "urgent fetal surgery" to save her then-unborn baby's life.

"I don't think anyone who hasn't been through a similar situation can begin to understand that feeling of fear," she said. "I have a whole new understanding and respect for the mamas who have had to fight for their babies while pregnant.

"Praise be to God. Walking out of the hospital with my baby boy in my tummy and safe was the truest blessing."
