KP Hits Another Ton In Ram Slam T20

Kevin Pietersen cracked his second century in as many games to propel Dolphins to a nine-wicket victory over Knights in the Ram Slam T20 Challenge.

Pietersen followed up his 66-ball 115 in Dolphins' one-run win over Highveld Lions with 100 not out off 45 balls, reaching three figures with the match-winning boundary.

Dolphins made light work of chasing down Knights' 167-4 - which featured a hundred from Theunis de Bruyn - as Pietersen cut loose to strike nine fours and seven sixes, the visitors securing victory off 16.4 overs for the loss of Cameron Delport (34).

Captain Morne van Wyk contributed 34 not out off 41 balls but it was Pietersen - playing the third match in his five-game spell with the Dolphins - who stole the show.

There were no such fireworks at Potchefstroom where Titans made hard work of chasing down a modest total after bowling Lions out for just 115 in 19.3 overs.

Tabraiz Shamsi did the damage as only Rassie van der Dussen (27 off 31) and Thami Tsolekile (58 off 41) made double figures.

Titans slipped to 84-6 in reply, Aaron Phangiso taking 3-19 including the wicket of top-scorer Quinton de Kock for 36, but Chris Morris (19no) guided them home with 13 balls to spare.

In the third match of the day, Richard Levi's 52 off 37 balls in a total of 140-6 proved just enough to earn Cape Cobras a five-run win over Warriors, who fell just short on 135-7 despite 64 from Colin Ackermann. Dane Paterson produced the standout display with the ball, returning 3-31.
