Yahoo News Krispy Kreme’s Conversation Heart Donuts Guarantee a Sweet Valentine’s Day
You didn’t think Krispy Kreme would let Valentine’s Day come without perfectly themed donuts, now did you? Last year, the donut shop unveiled Conversation Heart Doughnuts, and they’re back again for a limited time just for the holiday!
The heart-shaped donuts are filled with four Krispy Kreme classic fillings: Cake Batter, Strawberries & Kreme, Original KREME, and Chocolate KREME. Last year, instead of the Original KREME, Raspberry filling took its place. There are 24 edible messages on the donuts, so good luck trying to eat them all. From “BFF” to “Kiss Me” to ILYSM,” there’s a message for everyone in your life.
You can pick up the Conversation Heart Doughnuts, which come in a limited-edition gift box, from Jan. 27 through Feb. 14 while supplies last. This is one last-minute gift that no one will be disappointed in!
“With all the online tools today, we talk so much, yet say so little. There’s so much room for mixed signals and misinterpretation, especially around Valentine’s Day — the one day you definitely don’t want to mess it up,” Dave Skena, chief marketing officer for Krispy Kreme, said in a press release. “Getting offline and saying how you feel with delicious Doughnut Messages makes perfect sense.”
For an extra fun touch, Krispy Kreme is helping those awkward and confusing DMs a little easier to manage. Now through Valentine’s Day, you can go on Twitter using @krispykreme and #ValentinesDM and they’ll help you come up with a Doughnut Message to reply to those interesting messages.
