Krispy Kreme is giving free doughnuts to general election voters - how to claim

Krispy Kreme is offering voters who take to the polling station a free doughnut in a limited giveaway today (July 4).

The sweet offer has been launched in support of the UK General Election that is now underway. To be in with the chance of nabbing one of the firm's iconic treats for less, you only need to say two words.

After you have placed your vote, all you need to do is head to your nearest Krispy Kreme store and ask for an Original Glazed Doughnut. Saying the words "I voted" will get you the iconic ring doughnut completely free of charge.

Available for today only, the "Dough-mocracy" offer is available in all Krispy Kreme stores across the UK and is limited to one per person. The American doughnut and coffee chain has around 131 UK stores and you can find your local branch here.

A Single Original Glazed Doughnut is usually priced at around £2.65 each, but prices could vary depending on your location. The offer is also subject to availability, so you might want to quickly head to your local branch to avoid missing out.

It is worth mentioning that the deal is only available in Krispy Kreme branches. It excludes online purchases, alongside purchases made at counters in the likes of Tesco, Morrisons, Sainsbury's, Asda, Moto, Welcome Break, Roadchef, EuroGarages, Center Parcs, Costco and more.

It's not the only deal available for voters today, as the chain is offering a dozen of original glazed doughnuts for £2 when you purchase any other dozen pack at full price. Perfect for celebrating with friends, a dozen of the popular doughnuts would usually cost £14.95.

This means that voters can save themselves up to an impressive £12.95 when they purchase the two dozen packs with the deal. The dozen offer is available both in stores and via click and collect when using the code 'doughmocracy' at the checkout.
