Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard Kiss Under the Stars During Romantic Mexico Trip: ‘Core Memories’

The ‘You Again’ alum shared an inside look at her vacation that she took with her husband of 11 years and their two daughters, Lincoln and Delta, on Instagram

Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard’s Mexico getaway was one for the books!

The Frozen star, 43, offered a glimpse of the romantic moment from their vacation in a series of photos shared to Instagram on April 18. While the pair did enjoy some special moments alone, they also spent quality time with their two daughters — Lincoln, 11, and Delta, 9.

In the first snap, the married couple of 11 years appear to be head over heels for each other as they share a passionate kiss under the stars. Shepard, 49, has his hand placed on the back of Bell’s head as the horizon glows behind them in the sweet shot.

Bell stuck to the celestial theme and shared another photo of Shepard basking in the moonlight as more stars peeked out behind him.

In another slide, one of the pair's daughters is seen looking out at the serene pink and blue sky while the full moon shines bright over the ocean.

“Core memories for everyone xoxo 🇲🇽,” Bell captioned the post.

The mom of two also shared an inside look at some of the excursions the family enjoyed together.

One photo shows Lincoln and Delta climbing over rocks to get to a nearby river. Mountains and palm trees stand tall against the stunning backdrop.

In the same setting, the Forgetting Sarah Marshall actress is pictured soaking up the sun in a white bathing suit, white sunglasses and a woven straw hat that rests on her back.

As for Shepard, he had a dad moment when he used his phone’s flashlight to read the menu at dinner.

In the comments, fans point out how “relatable” the photo of Shepard is in the eighth slide.

“The flashlight is so real 😂,” one person wrote, followed by another user adding, “I see Dax and I use the same trick when reading menus in a dark place. 😂.”

A different comment read, “8th pic….so relatable 😂.”

Bell and Shepard first met at a dinner party in 2007, but sparks didn’t fly until two weeks later when they reconnected at a Detroit Red Wings hockey game.

The pair, who are both from Michigan, bonded over their shared home state at the game and Bell really started to fall “in love” when Shepard sent her a funny text the next day. They welcomed daughter Lincoln in March 2013 months before tying the knot later that year in October. In Dec. 2014, Bell gave birth to daughter Delta.

Fast forward ten years, the close-knit family currently resides in their L.A. “dream home” that they purchased in 2017.
