A crossbow has been seized following the tragic deaths of three relatives of BBC racing commentator John Hunt. Kyle Clifford, 26, suspected of triple murder, is currently in a critical condition in hospital after being discovered with injuries in Enfield's Hilly Fields area on Wednesday, as confirmed by Hertfordshire Police.

John Hunt's wife, Carol Hunt, 61, and their daughters Hannah, 28, and Louise, 25, were found with fatal injuries at their home in Ashlyn Close, Bushey, Hertfordshire, shortly after 7pm on Tuesday. The police have yet to interview Clifford regarding the incident.

Investigations into any prior incidents involving Clifford or the deceased have not revealed any previous reports, police stated.

Detective Superintendent Rob Hall of the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit said: "Our thoughts remain with the victims' family and loved ones at this devastating and indescribable time. They are being supported by specially trained officers."
