Kyle Richards Says Living with Daughters and Mauricio Umansky After Split Is 'Working for Now' But 'Can't Stay'
The estranged couple is parents to daughters Alexia, Sophia and Portia
Kyle Richards and her daughters are still living with her estranged husband Mauricio Umansky amid their separation.
On Wednesday, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 55, appeared on The Drew Barrymore Show, opening up to Barrymore, 49, and co-host Ross Mathews, 44, about what being on the reality show has taught her.
Richards, who revealed on the last season of the show that she and Umansky were taking time apart, said that their family is still living together.
"We're learning to sort of navigate this new normal," Richards shared. "My husband and I are still under the same roof with our daughters, just different bedrooms. Which feels very strange to share so publicly, but that's another part of doing what we do."

"Because we are fortunate enough to have other homes and sort of like moving around and keeping our daughters in the same house. Even though three of them are adults, Portia's 15, but it's working for now," the mom of four said.
"Obviously it's not going to stay like that, it can't stay like that forever. Because of my kid's ages, it's not like they're toddlers, so eventually we'll figure it out and take it to the next step, whichever that step may be."
Richards shares daughters Portia, 16, Sophia, 24, and Alexia, 27, with Umansky. She is also mom to daughter Farrah, 35, whom she shares with ex Guraish Aldjufrie.
Last week, Richards did an Amazon Live where she mentioned that her daughter Portia's birthday was the next day. The day of the streaming happened to be Leap Day, which prompted the reality TV star to remember how she almost gave birth to Portia on Feb. 29.
"Tomorrow you guys is Portia's 16th birthday," Richards said. "Oh my gosh, I cannot believe she's 16."
"And today's Leap Year, and I went into labor on Leap Year. It was a Leap Year when I went into labor with her and I was like, please. I don't want her to be born on Leap Year. I really don't," added Richards.
"So I literally held it together until after midnight because I was like, please no. Because it's just hard. In one way, it's cool because it would be a special birthday but in another way it's like, then you have to pick when is my actual birthday?"
