Kylian Mbappe has shown that he's still fully committed to Paris Saint-Germain, despite announcing his departure from the club at the end of this season.

The football sensation had informed PSG last year that he wouldn't be renewing his contract, sparking widespread speculation about his next move. Real Madrid are seen as the frontrunners to sign the World Cup champion, as few other clubs can meet his sky-high salary expectations.

This has effectively ruled out teams like Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United, who were only ever loosely connected with the player. Despite the buzz around his impending exit, Mbappe hasn't let his performances for PSG slip.

Indeed, he added to his goal count with a fantastic touch and finish against Toulouse on Sunday in what was his last game as a PSG player at Parc des Princes. The forward scored the first goal just eight minutes into the match, expertly controlling a high ball before skilfully manoeuvring past the goalkeeper to score from a tight angle.

A VAR review deemed his goal legitimate, and Mbappe celebrated by waving to the crowd before heading over to the bench to share a moment with Keylor Navas. His finesse and finish on the pitch are clear indicators that Mbappe remains as driven as ever, despite Paris Saint Germain's recent Champions League semi-final exit at the hands of Borussia Dortmund.

In a heartfelt announcement about his departure from PSG, Mbappe stated: "I wanted to announce to you all that it's my last year at Paris Saint Germain, I will not extend and the adventure will come to an end in a few weeks.

"I will play my last game at the Parc des Princes On Sunday. It's a lot of emotions, many years where I had the chance and the great honour to be a member of the biggest French club. One of the biggest in the world.

"I won't be a player anymore, but I will continue to watch every game of course because it's a club I will always be interested in and I will always closely follow up its news.

"Beforehand I want to say thank you because without you all I would've never experienced half the emotions I felt. And for that I am grateful. Thank you all.

"I hope we finish this year with one last trophy. We are going to have good moments for what's left and believe that you remain in my heart forever."
