Kylie Jenner and her three-year-old daughter were at Travis Scott's Astroworld concert which ended in tragedy when eight people were killed in a crowd crush.

The pregnant make-up mogul was watching boyfriend Scott alongside their daughter Stormi when the horrific incident took place and had posted photos to social media earlier in the evening of their night out as VIP concertgoers.

Astroworld music festival in Texas was being headlined by Scott when a stampede in the crowd led to a crush that killed eight fans and left many more injured just after 9pm on Friday.

The rest of the event has been cancelled as authorities said they were looking into the incident which included a number of cardiac arrests.

Jenner, 24, who is currently expecting her second child, had posted glamorous photos earlier in the evening of her outfit ahead of the show, and another of a trailer labelled with Stormi's name backstage.

In video clips on Instagram from the concert, Stormi can be seen in front of her wearing ear defenders.

Some of Jenner's followers criticised her for having posted one clip to her Instagram stories where what appears to be an emergency vehicle with red and blue flashing lights is slowly making its way through the crowd, although it is unclear whether it was in response to the crowd crush.

It has been reported that dozens of people were taken to hospital following the concert and that CPR was performed on 11 of them, with children apparently as young as 10 amongst the hundreds injured.

A statement from the festival organisers read: "Are hearts are with the Astroworld festival family tonight - especially those we lost and their loved ones.

"We are focused on supporting local officials however we can. With that in mind, the festival will no longer be held on Saturday.

"As authorities mentioned in their press conference earlier, they are looking into a series of cardiac arrests that took place. If you have any relevant information on this, please reach out to @HoustonPolice.

"Thank you to our partners at Houston Police Department, Fire Department, and NRG Park for their response and support."
