Kylie Minogue has shared a throwback picture of her and Jason Donovan to wish her former co-star and singing partner a happy birthday.
The cute picture of the pair is taken from their youthful days together on Australian soap Neighbours.
Minogue and Donovan played young couple Scott and Charlene Robinson on the show - their wedding episode becoming one of the most famous soap scenes of the late 1980s.
The pair proved so popular they both enjoyed chart success as singers - including duet Especially For You, which was the fourth biggest selling single in the UK in 1988.
And now Minogue has taken to Instagram to share a retro photo and send a birthday message to her former on-screen husband, who turns 52.
Captioning the image, Minogue wrote: “Happy birthday Jason!!! We go back such a long way now.
“What amazing times! Working with the ‘grown ups’, learning lines, giggling on set with Guy and the team, travelling the world.”
Guy refers to Hollywood actor Guy Pearce, who played character Mike Young on the show, before he embarked on a successful movie career.
The post has so received over 30,000 likes as fans share their love of the snap.
Ever a fan of old photos, it was also Minogue’s 52nd birthday last week, and she used the opportunity to dip even further into her archives and posted some of her childhood snaps.
Captioning photos of herself as a child, the singer wrote: “Thank you SO much for your birthday messages. My wish is to send you all ... so ... much ... love! Especially to my family, your love and kindness lifts me up each and every day.”
While Minogue’s pop career went from strength to strength, reinventing her sound every few years, Donovan’s career fizzled out after some hugely successful early singles.
He later returned to acting, being a regular in Australian film and TV.
Neighbours has proven to be something of a family affair for the Donovans. Terence Donovan, dad to Jason, has also appeared on the soap, as has sister Stephanie McIntosh.
Daughter Jemma is also a current cast member.
