Kym Marsh's new boyfriend has been seen for the first time since he seemingly hit back at comments after going public with their romance. Samuel Thomas appears to have met the actress when they started working together on 101 Dalmatians - The Musical.

Kym, 48, landed the role of Disney's iconic villain Cruella de Vil earlier this year and started touring with the production last month. Weeks after hitting the road with the stage version of the much-loved film, Kym and Samuel confirmed they were an item.

The former Coronation Stree star took to social media to reveal that she has found her 'soulmate' after falling for a lover 19 years her junior after meeting him in her new role.

She took to Instagram with a snap of herself and Samuel sharing a smacker and said: "Met the most amazing man ever! Sometimes the most unexpected things happen at the most unexpected times. @samuelthomasuk I love you #beautiful #soulmate #loveyou."

Samuel also took to his own Instagram page with a snap of the pair in which they could be seen smiling as they looked lovingly into each other's eyes. The actor, who is playing Tom Dearly in the UK and Ireland tour of the new musical 101 Dalmatians, said: "I didn’t expect you, but here you are. I love you. @marsh_kym."

The 29-year-old has now been spotted out for a stroll in Norwich on Tuesday (July 9) where he is set to star in the latest tour stop for 101 Dalmatians as Tom Dearly. It comes after he shared a message, seemingly aimed at those not being kind or supportive in response to their loved-up social media posts.

Some fans did hit back on their behalf, with @bekheld saying: "Ignore the hate, my husband and I have been together 24 yrs on the 12th. 19yr age gap.. I was his babysitter!! Safe to say love conquers all." @xx.bryony.xx wrote: "I find it absolutely baffling how people can be so horrible, especially to someone they don’t even know!!! She deserves all the happiness."

@nicoleeg89 commented: "Omg so many people follow u just to be awful in the comments!! Seriously people need to grow up a bit.. So happy for u, everyone deserves to be happy so go for it." @deborah.rfc added: "So many nasty, jealous folk on this, it’s actually embarrassing. I wish you both all the happiness in the world. Your dad would be so happy to see you in love & smiling again Kym."

But the comments didn't pass Samuel by as he took to his Instagram Story and across a plain white background typed: "Opinions are like a***holes... everyone's got one, but they're still a***holes," on Sunday (July 8) after his and Kym's big relationship reveal.

Earlier on Tuesday, Kym was all smiles as she officially launched a new family carvery. Kym donned her own Farmhouse Kitchen uniform as she became honorary restaurant manager for the day at the former Applewood Farm in Astley, on the border of Salford and Wigan.

Kym got stuck into her role, cutting the ribbon to officially open the site, carving the meat for the first guest and showering customers’ plates with bottomless gravy.

While remaining tight-lipped on her love life, Kym told the Manchester Evening News that she's happy in her personal life right now and enjoying her role as Cruella, which she picks up again for Manchester's Palace Theatre run at the end of the month, following a stint back filming Waterloo Road.
