Labour's Lloyd Hatton elected as South Dorset MP

Lloyd Hatton has been elected as South Dorset MP for the Labour Party.

The party gained the seat from the Conservatives in a tightly fought contest.

Labour won with a majority of 1,048, overturning a majority of around 17,000.

Labour received 15,659, whilst Conservatives received 14,611 votes.
