The Labour Party have won a landslide victory in the 2024 General Election, and will control the government of the United Kingdom for the first time since 2010.

Outside 10 Downing Street, Labour leader Keir Starmer has vowed that "the work of change begins immediately" in his first speech as Prime Minister .

Meanwhile, Rishi Sunak announced plans to resign as leader of the Conservative Party after the disastrous election results.

With Scottish Labour already planning to take Holyrood in 2026 following their Westminster gains, the Daily Record wants to hear from our readers on what they think of the General Election results.
