Labour's Justin Madders wins new Ellesmere Port and Bromborough seat
Labour has taken the new Ellesmere Port and Bromborough seat. Labour candidate Justin Madders, MP for Ellesmere Port and Neston before this election, won by a margin of 16,908.
Mr Madders won the Ellesmere Port and Neston seat in 2019 by a majority of 8,764. The constituency was retired by the Boundary Commission, with Mr Madders now representing a seat that extends along much of the eastern coast of the Wirral, including Bromborough, Port Sunlight and New Ferry.

Justin Madders (Labour): 24,186
Lee Evans (Conservative): 5,210
Michael Christopher Aldred (Reform UK): 7,278
Chris Carubia (Liberal Democrats): 2,328
Harry Ross Gorman (Green Party): 2,706
Ruth Kathleen Boulton (Independent): 256
