LaNisha Cole Talks Postponing Daughter Onyx's 'Pre-Birthday Activities' amid Illness: 'Tough Week'

LaNisha Cole has been keeping a close eye on her toddler amid a difficult week

LaNisha Cole has had a "tough week" with a sick baby.

Sharing an update on Instagram Monday, the photographer mom, 40, explains that daughter Onyx Ice — whom she shares with Nick Cannon — has been "so sick" over the last week.

"Seeing my baby so sick has been heartbreaking — but she's been such a strong girl," Cole said of the toddler, who celebrates her first birthday later this week. "Her health is my only priority at the moment, so we've had to postpone some of our pre-birthday activities until she's back to 100%."

Things are taking a turn for the better, however, with Cole adding, "Yesterday I finally got some big smiles, lots of hugs, and a 'mama' 🥹 ✨ So she definitely getting better."

After thanking "friends and family who've reached out and have been praying for her, and making sure I'm ok too," Cole shared photos stepping out with boyfriend Brian Paul Kuba and Onyx. The three saw a beautiful rainbow at sunset on their dinner outing.

"Goid is showing out today. We stopped to get some soup for Onyx and a lovely couple randomly paid for our entire meal🥹 ✨. Someone did it for them a while back and so they paid it forward and blessed us."

In April, Cole celebrated how much love her little girl is surrounded by in an emotional Instagram post.

"My whole world... the most beautiful little girl," the mom wrote. "I will do everything I can every single day to make sure she knows how special she is and how much I love and adore her."

Cole then shared a bunch of photos with her little girl, showing her enjoying time with all the different people that love her, including members of her family and her boyfriend.

Cannon has 12 kids with six different women, with a total of 7 children aged 2 and under. In addition to Onyx, the TV personality shares twins Moroccan and Monroe, 12, with ex-wife Mariah Carey. He also shares son Golden Sagon, 6, daughter Powerful Queen, 2½, and son Rise Messiah, who turns 1 later this month, with Brittany Bell,

Cannon later fathered his second pair of twins — Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir, 2 — with Abby De La Rosa, followed by 10-month-old daughter Beautiful Zeppelin. He also shares son Legendary Love, 13 months, with Bre Tiesi.

The rapper and comedian is also a father to two children with Alyssa Scott: son Zen, who tragically died of brain cancer in December 2021 at 5 months old, and daughter Halo Marie Cannon, 8 months.
