LAPD Arrest Protesters at USC Demonstration

Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) arrested dozens of people after ordering people involved in protests relating to the conflict in Israel and Gaza to disperse at the University of Southern California (USC) on Wednesday, April 24.

Footage filmed by X user Tomoki Chien, shows a police presence on campus as they detain protesters.

In a post on X, USC announced it had closed its University Park campus “as a result of significant activity.”

“Students will have access through pedestrian gates with their USC IDs,” the statement read.
