Large Tree Crushes Church Building During Strong Winds in California

A large tree crashed through a church building in Pleasanton, California, as dangerous winds lashed the Bay Area on Tuesday, March 14.

Video recorded by Brianna Armario shows the tree fall into the side of the church, crushing a room.

Armario told Storyful that no one was injured. Local media reported two people were inside the building during the incident.

The National Weather Service urged residents in the Bay Area to stay clear of trees as saturated soil and strong winds posed a “likely” threat. Credit: Brianna Armario via Storyful
