Hello, hello, and welcome back. If you're new here, I'm Alexa, and every month, I create the weirdest calendar by rounding up all the shocking, funny, or bizarre things that happened the month prior. So, without further ado, here's everything that happened in June:

2. June 3: In a now-viral clip, Stephen A. Smith suggested his morning show offers the most air time to women's sports, including the WNBA. However, former basketball player Monica McNutt quickly shot back that Stephen A. "could have been doing this three years ago" instead of waiting until the WNBA reached new levels of popularity this year.

4.June 4: Rihanna expanded her beauty empire, launching Fenty Hair.
5.June 5: To much controversy, Kim Kardashian appeared alongside Chloë Sevigny on Variety's Actors on Actors.
6.June 6: Sabrina Carpenter charmed the world with a music video for her new song "Please Please Please," and it even featured her boo thang, actor Barry Keoghan.
7.June 7: Will Smith and Martin Lawrence's fourth installment in the Bad Boys movie series was released to a weekend box office debut of $56 million.
8.June 9: During Governors Ball music festival, artist Chappell Roan shared why she declined to perform at the White House Pride event.
"Freedom for all oppressed people in occupied territories," she declared. “In response to the White House, who asked me to perform for Pride. We want liberty, justice, and freedom for all. When you do that, that’s when I’ll come," she said.
9. June 10: In honor of Father's Day, Nick Cannon said he'd give his kids the "opportunity to connect" with him, sparking a flood of jokes and memes.

10.June 11: President Joe Biden's son, Hunter Biden, was convicted on three felony charges related to the purchase of a revolver in 2018.
11.June 13: Bridgerton Season 3, Part 2 released with much anticipation for the deeply satisfying and now iconic mirror scene.
12. June 13: Elon Musk annoyed X (aka Twitter) users once again by privating likes.

13.June 14: Kate Middleton shared a rare public update on her health amid her cancer treatment, saying she's making "good progress."
"I am making good progress, but as anyone going through chemotherapy will know, there are good days and bad days. On those bad days you feel weak, tired and you have to give in to your body resting. But on the good days, when you feel stronger, you want to make the most of feeling well," she wrote in an Instagram caption. "My treatment is ongoing and will be for a few more months. On the days I feel well enough, it is a joy to engage with school life, spend personal time on the things that give me energy and positivity, as well as starting to do a little work from home...I am learning how to be patient, especially with uncertainty. Taking each day as it comes, listening to my body, and allowing myself to take this much needed time to heal. Thank you so much for your continued understanding, and to all of you who have so bravely shared your stories with me."

18.June 19: Kendrick Lamar united Los Angeles rappers and the internet for a Juneteenth concert dubbed "The Pop Out: Ken & Friends."
The performance — which was livestreamed for viewers at home on Amazon Prime — featured moments from artists like Tyler, the Creator, Dr. Dre, Roddy Ricch, YG, an honor to the late Nipsey Hussle, and more.
19.June 20: Travis Scott was arrested and charged with disorderly intoxication and trespassing.
20.June 20: Klute and The Hunger Games actor Donald Sutherland died at age 88.
21.June 22: After dominating the 100m trial race, Sha'Carri Richardson officially qualified for the Paris Olympics.
22.June 23: During an Eras Tour performance in London, Taylor Swift surprised fans by bringing Travis Kelce out on stage.
23. June 27: CNN aired the first US presidential debate ahead of the November election, and while you may have expected an event like this to be full of conversation regarding pressing issues, one of the most standout moments was a heated argument over which candidate is better at golf.

24.June 28: In disappointing Supreme Court news, SCOTUS ruled that cities can ban people from sleeping or camping in public spaces — effectively opening the door for a ban on homelessness.
25. July 30: During the BET Awards, Taraji P. Henson mistook TikToker Jordan Howlett for creator Keith Lee, which led to this super awkward moment. (And then she told Keith to "call her" while he was sitting next to his wife.)
