Launch date and opening times announced for Wendy’s new Hull city centre restaurant

Wendy’s throws open its doors this week to customers eager to try its menu at the chain’s brand new branch in Hull city centre.

The fast-food restaurant, developed in a previously empty unit in Jameson Street, will welcome its first diners at 10.30am on Thursday, July 11. The American hamburger brand expects it to be a busy day, as thousands of Wendy's fans have reportedly reached out to confirm the opening date.

A spokesperson for Wendy’s said: “We expect hundreds of people to be queuing through the day for a taste of our famous Fresh Never Frozen Square Burgers at great value prices.

As a special treat to the 'Wendy's Super Fans' in Hull, we will be offering free food or merch for everyone in the queue before the doors open.

“In our recent restaurant openings, this has seen fans camp out through the night. Everyone who visits on the day will have the chance to win amazing prizes too, including a limited-edition iconic Wendy’s Varsity Jacket.

The new restaurant will provide fans with the signature Wendy’s items they know and love across breakfast, lunch and dinner, including the Baconator®, Dave’s Single™, the Spicy Chicken Sandwich and of course the Frosty® dessert (in chocolate AND vanilla). These favourites are joined by an exclusive range of items only available in the UK, including chicken fillet nuggets and the Curry Bean Burger – square just like Wendy’s beef burgers.

A full Wendy’s-style breakfast menu is also available before 10.30am, offering early-doors delights such as the Breakfast Baconator and Croissant Sandwiches. Opening hours of the Jameson Street restaurant are:

• Monday to Saturday, 7am to 11pm

• Sunday, 8am to 11pm
