Laura Richards: Concerns grow for missing Edinburgh woman as police launch urgent search

Police have launched an urgent appeal for a missing Edinburgh woman as concerns for her welfare grow.

Laura Richards, 46, has been reported missing from Edinburgh. She was last seen around 5pm on Sunday, May 12, in Glen Street in Fountainbridge.

Police have said it is 'vital' she is traced as soon as possible as they are concerned for her welfare.

She is described as being around 5ft 5in tall, of slim build with dark brown hair. She is believed to be wearing jeans, a black jacket, and red and white trainers.

Inspector Carlyn Simpson said: “We are concerned for Laura’s welfare and it’s vital we trace her as soon as possible.

“We are appealing to anyone who believes they have seen Laura, or has any information on where she may be, to come forward.”
