Yahoo News Laura Whitmore to present ITV's Survival of the Fittest
Remember when Love Island finished and it felt like you'd lost an arm? Yeah, us too. Remember when 'winter Love Island' was announced and suddenly all was right with the world?
Well, that 'winter Love Island' is now almost upon us – except it's called Survival of the Fittest and it'll be presented by Laura Whitmore, not Caroline Flack.
ITV2's brand new reality series will be set somewhere a little more exotic than Majorca, as the contestants will be heading over to the South African savannah.

In the ultimate battle of the sexes, a team of girls and boys (who are all conveniently single) will live in The Lodge while going up against one another in daily physical and mental challenges.
Love Island, who?
The series, which is the brainchild of the company behind Love Island, will pit mates, and potential dates, against each other as they battle it out for a huge cash prize.
Laura Whitmore – who is currently going out with Love Island's narrator Iain Stirling, fact fans – will be presenting the show live from South Africa and is "absolutely buzzing" about it.
"The ITV family always manages to come up with exciting and innovative formats and this brand new show is the ultimate boys versus girls," she said.
"Having worked on five series of I'm a Celeb... I didn't think that it was possible to find a backdrop as exotic as the Jungle – cue the African Savannah. I can't wait to get out there..!"
