CHRISTCHURCH Chamber of Trade and Commerce has welcomed a new President and Vice President.

At the Chamber’s AGM on June 19, Tim Lloyd was elected as President and Richard Oswald as Vice President.

The pair will remain in their roles for the next 12 months.

Tim, managing director of Captain’s Club Hotel, has worked on the Destination Management Board and been involved in the Accommodation Business Improvement District (ABID).

Richard, owner of PP Printing in Bargates, has remained enthusiastic in helping businesses and the community over the years.

Tim said: “During this, my second time in office as President, I want to support Christchurch central businesses but also re-build relationships with the outlying districts of Highcliffe, Burton, Grove and the Airport Enterprise Park.

"It is essential we get an overall view of what is needed by businesses across the conurbation, and I want to encourage new members to the Chamber and appoint a few new faces onto the Executive Committee who can help deliver on these promises.”
