A leading chef is set to open a brand new restaurant in Wales. Andrew Sheridan is a three AA rosette chef and is set to launch a new "small plates" restaurant in Prestatyn, Denbighshire.

The establishment, named Dishes, will be located in Prestatyn High Street, which is close to where Sheridan currently livess. The venue, which is set to open its doors this summer, promises to be a "relaxed neighbourhood restaurant" which will offer "small, social" plates of food and a "carefully" curated drinks menu in a "lively, social setting".

On Sundays the restaurant will be serving up roast dinners on big sharing platters for those around the table to share. The venue, which is currently under renovation, is also recruiting staff before its opening in July.
