At Least 1 Dead and 1 Missing After Landslide in Northern Honduras

A four-year-old girl was killed and one man was missing after a landslide in Choloma, Honduras, buried three homes on Thursday, December 7.

Two people, including the mother of the dead girl, had been rescued and transported to a nearby hospital for treatment, local outlet El Heraldo reported, citing fire officials.

The outlet added that one person, thought to have been buried, remains missing.

This footage, shared by a local branch of the Honduras National Police, shows mud and debris covering destroyed homes, with first responders transporting a stretcher.
