At Least 2 Injured in Russian Strikes on Kyiv Oblast, Ukrainian Officials Say

At least two people were injured and multiple buildings damaged after a Russian missile attack on Kyiv Oblast, according to officials.

This footage was released by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, who said that at least 13 buildings were destroyed or damaged in Kyiv Oblast by “enemy missile fragments.”

The Kyiv City Administration said Russian forces launched missiles at Ukraine’s capital, resulting in an air alert that lasted for over three hours.

The missiles were shot down by air defense systems, according to the Kyiv City Administration.

The head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration Ruslan Kravchenko said that debris from the missiles fell on four different areas of Kyiv Oblast.

The mayor of Brovary, Ihor Sapozhko, said a woman and a man in the area were injured in the attack, after a “civil infrastructure facility” caught fire in the suburb. Sapozhko said that they were transported to hospital “in a state of stress and with damage to their limbs.”
