At Least 5 Killed in Strikes on Dnipro, Ukraine Says

At least five people were killed and 34 injured in Russian strikes on Dnipro, Ukraine, on Wednesday, July 3, according to local officials.

Giving the figures, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said only “modern air defense systems” and long-rang weapons could stop such attacks.

These images were posted to Telegram by Serhiy Lysak, governor of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. He said Russian forces fired “missiles and attack UAVs” towards Dnipro.

The commander of the Ukrainian Air Force, Mykola Oleschuk, said Russia fired “three Iskander-K land-based cruise missiles, four Kh-59 guided air missiles, and five Shahed-type attack UAVs,” towards Dnipropetrovsk Oblast on Wednesday morning.
