At Least One Dead in Severe Flash Flooding in Southern Italy, Local Reports Say
A flash flood in southern Italy killed at least one man on Thursday, May 25, local news reported.
This footage from Vigili del Fuoco, Italy’s fire and rescue agency, shows floodwaters rushing along the streets of the Irpinia region. The agency said Forino, Celzi, and Montoro were the most affected towns.
