Leeds Rhinos drop overseas halfback as Brad Arthur arrives ahead of shake-up

Leeds Rhinos have not selected Matt Frawley for their trip to face Warrington Wolves. The halfback has been omitted for the second time in his Rhinos career, with youngster Jack Sinfield selected by interim head coaches Chev Walker and Scott Grix.

Frawley, an off-season signing from Canberra Raiders, was previously left out earlier in the year after a disappointing performance in the club's victory over Hull FC, with Sinfield preferred when they played London Broncos a week after. And as new head coach Brad Arthur prepares to take control of the club for the final rounds of the season, Frawley has once again been left out, with Sinfield preferred.

Arthur will take on a watching brief at the Halliwell Jones Stadium, with the Rhinos posting a picture of the Australian talking to Gary Hetherington and Ian Blease at Warrington, confirming his safe arrival in the UK.

Elsewhere, Ned McCormack has been recalled to the side in place of Harry Newman, who is unavailable due to a foot injury.
