In February, the "Human" artist opened up about his new album at the 2024 Grammys.

“It’s kind of like the record I didn’t make in high school before I made my first album, Let Love Rule,” Kravitz said. “So it’s really fun.”

Speaking about why an album wasn’t made during that moment in his life, he said that it was because he “never got a record deal.”

“I didn’t get my record deal until I was 23,” Kravitz explained. “So I had left that sort of vibe and moved on and this is a little step in that direction. It’s nice to celebrate that time.”

In a recent PEOPLE cover story, the Grammy winner said he's more inspired than ever by his past, his present and his future.

“It's sort of amazing to me that I could be where I am now and feel fresh and hungry," Kravitz said.
