Leona Lewis and her nearly two-year-old daughter were the spitting image of each other as they donned matching princess dresses for a lavish wedding.

The duo was said to be like the 'spitting image' of one another as they were captured in their matching vibrant yellow outfits for the wedding of Leona's music manager, Nicola Carson.

Both Leona and Carmel, who she shares with her husband Dennis Jauch of five years, looked stunning in the brightly coloured attire, smiling broadly in photos shared on Instagram, reports the Mirror.

Leona exuded elegance in the voluminous dress featuring a deep neckline and shoulder bows. She paired it with white block heels to complete her look. Carmel's dress was adorned with embroidered daisies and she wore trainers to match her outfit.

Both sported identical hairstyles for the occasion, their curly hair fashioned into sleek buns atop their heads. They enjoyed a moving performance by The Contemporary Choir during the ceremony, as seen in one of the pictures Leona posted.

The singer captioned the post: "Ladies of the Manor. Feeling all the love on this beautiful day, congratulations to my soul sister @colacarson."

This outing follows Leona's special recognition earlier this year when she was appointed an OBE in the New Year's honours list for her contributions to music and charity.

She shot to stardom after clinching the title in the third series of The X Factor back in 2006. She then went on to churn out a string of hits including Bleeding Love, Run, and Better In Time.

The singer holds the record as the first British female solo artist to have eight singles in the top five, breaking Olivia Newton-John's previous record of seven.

Throughout her illustrious career, she bagged two MOBO Awards, an MTV Europe Music Award, and two World Music Awards. The multi-talented star was also nominated for six BRIT Awards and three Grammy Awards.

The starlet lent her voice to James Cameron's blockbuster film Avatar in 2009 with the song I See You, and in 2016 she made her Broadway debut replacing Nicole Scherzinger as Grizabella in the revival of Lord Lloyd-Webber's musical Cats.

Not only is she a celebrated artist, but she's also recognised for her support of numerous charitable causes. She's collaborated with The Prince's Trust, Teenage Cancer Trust and WWF.

Lewis and her husband, German-born creative director Dennis Jauch, launched a coffee shop in Los Angeles with sustainability at its core, pledging to plant a tree for every cup sold in partnership with the National Forest Association.
