Lewis Capaldi net worth: Singer says 'I have less than £200 in my bank right now' in hilarious Instagram video

Lewis Capaldi revealed he has “under £200” in his bank account after being shocked to find out he is reportedly worth $10million.

The Scottish singer, who shot to fame with Someone You Loved, ranted to fans about “nonsense” online.

“So I have a day off in Cincinnati, I thought for a laugh I'd Google it and see what the Internet says about my net worth,” he began.

“It says according to Forbes and Wikipedia, Lewis Capaldi's estimated net worth is $10million. I have less than £200 in my bank right now so who the f*** has my $10million?”

Capaldi, 22, added that he was “still kicking about in the same clothes he has for six months” and that he still lives at home with his parents in his childhood bedroom.

The singer then raged against whoever had posted “false information” online, wanting to “make it clear” that the figure was “nonsense”.

He finished his video by saying: “$10 million…that’s right. $10 million net worth. That’s ridiculous. Can you get this round please?”

Capaldi recently announced a UK tour for 2020, kicking off in March in Manchester before playing gigs in Glasgow, Dublin and Cardiff.

The musician will cap off his trip around the country with a date at the SSE Wembley Arena in London.

Tickets for his Glasgow date proved so popular on Wednesday that they sold out in less than a minute, prompting the star to add a second.
