Liam Gallagher apologises to niece Anais and mum Peggy - but not to Noel
Liam Gallagher has apologised to his teenage niece Anais Gallagher for sending a threatening message to her.
The former Oasis frontman also offered his sincere apologies to his mother Peggy for the latest development in his ongoing feud with his older brother Noel Gallagher which saw Noel accuse him of “intimidating women”.
Liam, 46, wrote on Twitter: “My sincere apologies to my beautiful mum Peggy and my lovely niece Anais for getting caught up in all of this childish behaviour. I love you both dearly.”

But the For What It’s Worth singer did not mention 52-year-old Noel or his wife Sara McDonald in his apology.

The latest social media spat was sparked by Noel’s wife McDonald who replied to a post on Instagram saying she did not plan to watch Liam perform at Glastonbury and calling him a “fat t**t tribute act” who appeared “pretty dated”.
Noel then made public a message Liam has sent to 19-year-old Anais saying: “Tell you step Mam to be very careful.”
Noel tweeted: “So you’re sending threatening messages via my teenage daughter now are you?
“You always were good at threatening women though eh?
“What you planning on doing anyway?

“Grabbing my wife by the throat to show her who’s boss... or maybe trying to waddle through our double gates and performing ‘S***wave’ in the communal garden or daubing your w**k lyrics on the toilet walls?”
He then went on to joke about Liam attacking one of the family pets and hiring TV hardman Ross Kemp to protect them.
Noel was seemingly referring to a video that emerged last year of Liam grabbing his girlfriend Debbie Gwyther by the throat during a row in a nightclub that was caught in CCTV.

The two brothers fell out during a backstage fight at a festival in Paris in August 2009. Noel quit Oasis and the brothers are not thought to have spoken since.
Anais has replied to a Twitter user who cast aspersion on the message she received, as the contact was saved in her phone as ‘Uncle Liam’ and branding it a PR stunt.
