Liam Gallagher compares brother Noel to Adolf Hitler
We all know that Noel and Liam Gallagher will never exactly be bosom buddies, but Liam may have crossed a line when he compared his brother to Adolf Hitler.
We mean, we don’t know about you but we reckon that might just be a step too far.
Liam has never been one to brush his rivalry with Noel under the carpet and has vocally slagged his brother off to the press in the past, but now he has dubbed Noel’s behaviour in the new Oasis documentary film, Supersonic, as “sadistic”.
Speaking to Radio X’s Johnny Vaughn, the star quipped: “He is pretty dark. But then so was Hitler.”
Liam went on to make another bizarre comparison as he likened an Oasis reunion to the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.
When told that it would be “nice” for the fans if the band got back together, he retorted: “It would be nice to see Jesus Christ not nailed to a cross… but s**t happens.”
No, we don’t understand it either.
Liam previously insisted that it was his brother who was hindering a reunion, claiming: “This is a serious question and I’m not bringing the mood down. Our kid’s going around like I’ve stabbed his f***ing cat. He wants to be in a solo band.
“If people think me having a dig on Twitter is what’s stopping the band getting back together, they’re mad. If they want the band to get back together they’ll have to ask our kid. It’s down to our kid.”
Oasis split in 2009 and we wouldn’t exactly hold our breath for a comeback…
