‘Lift’ Boosted To No. 1 On Netflix Film Top 10; ‘American Nightmare’ Leads TV
Lift was once again Netflix’s most-watched title.
For the second consecutive week, the action heist dominated the streamer with 36.7M views from January 15 to 21. According to Netflix, the film was in the Top 10 in 93 countries.

The Legend of Tarzan came in second on the English-language film list, while the new dystopian film The Kitchen took third. Kibwe Tavares and Daniel Kaluuya made their directorial debut, collecting 5.6M views in the film’s first full week on the platform.
Adam Sandler’s Leo made it on the list for the ninth time with another 3.3M views, securing tenth place.
Over on the non-English language film list, Society of the Snow is still putting up impressive numbers after securing a spot on the most popular list. With another 13.4M views, the film rose to No. 4 on that all-time list, just in time to secure two Oscar nominations on Tuesday.
On the TV side of things, Netflix’s new docuseries American Nightmare was in the top spot with 21.4M views — an impressive feat in the three-part series’ first few days on the platform. Fool Me Once saw its audience halved this week, though it still came in at No. 2 with 11.2M views.
Also on the list were Boy Swallows Universe at No. 3 with 4M views, The Brothers Sun at No. 5 with 2.7M views, and My Life with the Walter Boys, in its seventh week on the list at No. 6 with 2.1M views.
Berlin kept its hold on the non-English TV list for the fourth week in a row with 5M views.
