Light Fixture Sways as Earthquake Shakes Melbourne

A light fixture swayed in a suburb of Melbourne, Australia, late on Sunday, May 28, after a magnitude 3.8 earthquake shook the region, Geoscience Australia said.

Footage recorded by Jan Laczynski in Tullamarine, a suburb in the northwest of Melbourne, shows a lamp swinging from its cord. Laczynski told Storyful he felt frighted when he felt the earthquake and ran downstairs, where he saw the light swaying.

No major damage or injuries were reported following the earthquake, local media reported. Credit: Jan Laczynski via Storyful
