Plane struck by lightning at airport

Dramatic footage has emerged of a plane being struck by lightning at an airport in China.

The video, filmed at Jieyang Chaoshan International Airport in Guangdong Province on Monday, shows the aircraft briefly light up in flames as the bolt hits it during a powerful thunderstorm.

No one was on the airliner at the time and there were no reports of any injuries.
