Lily-Rose Depp Goes Mad for a Sinister Vampire in “Nosferatu” Trailer

Bill Skarsgård, Nicholas Hoult, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Emma Corrin and Willem Dafoe also star in 'Nosferatu'

Lily-Rose Depp is contending with one of cinema's most classic vampires.

On June 24, Focus Features debuted the first trailer for Nosferatu, the second remake of the 1922 German silent film Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror.

The movie features IT actor Bill Skarsgård as the titular vampire, as well as an ensemble cast that includes Nicholas Hoult, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Emma Corrin, Ralph Ineson, Simon McBurney and Willem Dafoe.

An official logline for the horror film describes Nosferatu as "a gothic tale of obsession between a haunted young woman and the terrifying vampire infatuated with her, causing untold horror in its wake."

Nosferatu is written and directed by Robert Eggers, who is known for The Witch (2015), The Lighthouse (2019) and The Northman (2021).

Skarsgård, who also stars in the upcoming The Crow film, recently told Esquire that he does "not think people are gonna recognize me in" Nosferatu.

He called his character “gross," adding, “But it is very sexualized. It’s playing with a sexual fetish about the power of the monster and what that appeal has to you. Hopefully you’ll get a little bit attracted by it and disgusted by your attraction at the same time.”

Nosferatu is in theaters Dec. 25.
