Lincolnshire 2024 General Election results as Labour gain Lincoln but Tories buck national trend elsewhere
It has been a very dramatic night across the country, as Labour has earned itself its first general election majority since 2005. Across Lincolnshire, there has been a number of interesting results.
This includes the victory of former Reform UK Chairman Richard Tice, who has unseated the now former Conservative MP Matt Warman. In Lincoln, Labour candidate Hamish Falconer beat Karl McCartney, winning almost double the number of votes that the now former MP gained.
Elsewhere in the county, Conservative MPs kept their firm stronghold on the region, holding on to six of their seats and bucking the national trend. You can view the full results below.
Among those to remain in their seat was Gainsborough's Sir Edward Leigh, who has been MP for the area since the current constituency's creation in 1997, making him one of the longest-serving Members of Parliament.
