Linda Robson in 'really good place' following marriage split

Linda Robson is in "a really good place" following her separation from husband Mark Dunford.

After months of speculation about the state of her marriage, the Birds of a Feather actress confirmed in November that she and Mark had split up after 33 years of marriage.

She addressed her impending divorce for the first time in an interview with OK! magazine on Monday, insisting it wasn't "dramatic".

"People do (grow apart), sometimes, don't they?" she said. "We never had that much in common, you know. I'm very sociable - Mark never enjoyed that side of things."

The 65-year-old admitted they stayed together for so long because of their two children Louis, 32, and Bobbie, 28.

Reflecting on where she's at now, Linda added, "I've been sad about it, of course I have. But we had two lovely children together. But they're all grown up, living their own lives now... (Now) I'm in a really good place. Work's good, I feel like I have a lot to talk about."

The TV personality noted that she and Mark are "civil" to each other "most of the time" and are planning to sell their marital home in Islington, London.

Despite her newfound single status, Linda has no intention of getting back out on the dating scene.

"No, no, NO!" she exclaimed. "I don't need a man. I've got my friends and my family. I'm not interested in dating, I'm too old now. I can't be bothered with all that... 'jiggy jiggy'."

In addition to her and Mark's two children, Linda has a 40-year-old daughter named Lauren with her late partner Tony Tyler.
