It’s been a long long time since Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton were BFFs. But perhaps the Mean Girls star remembers their friendship in a kinder light than her erstwhile friend. Or maybe she just knows how to deal with people who use her name to promote themselves these days.

It definitely looked that way this week, anyway. After Paris Hilton called Lohan “beyond, lame and embarrassing,” on a US chat show, the redhead posted an old picture of herself and the Simple Life star on Instagram with the caption “#beyond friends are true. Love@parishilton congratulations on your new song!”

The new song in question - which the hotel heiress is currently promoting – has the classy title of My Best Friend’s Ass.

Lohan’s followers were quick to comment on the post, with one saying, “this is the most iconic thing that happened in this 2019” and celebrity gossiper Perez Hilton adding, “This is some major big dick energy!!! 💣💣💣💣”, which got over 2000 likes from fellow users.

Paris Hilton made the headline-grabbing comments when she was on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen promoting her new single. She was playing a game called Plead the Fifth when the show’s host asked her to say three nice things about her frenemy.

Giggling she said, “ she’s beyond, lame and embarrassing,” smiling the entire time.

She then went on to talk about her friendship with Kim Kardashian and the rumour that she had made out with Miley Cyrus in a nightclub to which she answered “maybe”.

Lohan is currently busy expanding the beach club empire, opening new locations in Rhodes and Athens this summer. The actress has her own reality TV show Lindsay Lohan's Beach Club about her business.

Her Instagram post featuring Paris Hilton has already received over 250,000 likes on the social media platform.
