Linkin Park's latest music video is now so poignant

On Thursday (July 20), lead singer of Linkin Park Chester Bennington was found dead by law enforcement officials in his home in Palos Verdes Estates, California.

Just hours before news of Bennington's death shocked the music world, Linkin Park released their latest music video. 'Talking to Myself' was part of the band's seventh studio album One More Light, and the video features footage of the group's live performances.

The many shots of Bennington owning the live arena, in front of countless excited fans, has suddenly become an abrupt memorial to his artistry and passion:

After the news about Bennington's death broke across outlets, bandmate Mike Shinoda shared on Twitter: "Shocked and heartbroken, but it's true. An official statement will come out as soon as we have one."

Linkin Park haven't released an official statement yet, but shared this image of Bennington on their Twitter feed:

In the aftermath of the news, celebrities like Rihanna and Chance the Rapper have paid homage to the singer.
