Lisa Armstrong took to social media with a bold statement just hours after showing rare public support for her ex-husband Ant McPartlin. Earlier, as the final episode of Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway was set to air, she joined in with fans' reactions to the show's latest offering.

The finale was packed with surprises and celebrity appearances, including Simon Cowell and Holly Willoughby, culminating in an emotional farewell from the beloved presenting duo.

Fans and celebrities alike were quick to praise the show, and makeup artist Lisa was among those expressing admiration, liking a tweet that hailed the pair as 'simply the best' following their landmark show. However, not long after, Lisa posted a pointed message on her Instagram Stories.

The message read: "And she gave zero f**ks," styled in a vibrant pink font and adorned with floral and heart graphics. Lisa, who had been with presenter Ant for two decades, including 11 years of marriage, made headlines when they announced their divorce in 2018.

Their separation was far from smooth, with court documents revealing Lisa sought a divorce due to Ant becoming 'intolerable to live with'. To add to the strain, Lisa, 47, discovered Ant had started a relationship with their former personal assistant Anne-Marie Corbett, whom he went on to marry in 2021, reports the Mirror.

The ex-personal aide, who worked for Ant and Lisa for six years even organising their 10th wedding renewal in 2016, was considered a close friend to Lisa. Things took a turn for the worse between the three about a year later.

Lisa made her disappointment known on X after she discovered that Ant had begun dating Anne-Marie from news headlines. Replying to a fan's comment, she wrote: "Yeah My friend and OUR PA who I let into OUR home", rounding off her note with a broken heart emoji.

At the weekend, Lisa - once close friends with her and Ant's best man, Dec - double-tapped on a social media post by a television pal hailing Ant and Dec 'simply the best'. The post read: "After 20 years this amazing show is coming to an end it's been a real joy and pleasure to have been there from the beginning, and in my 30-year career in showbiz I've worked with some brilliant people but these two are simply the best! Great friendships and memories made."

This marks a significant departure from her usual online pattern of liking posts slamming her estranged husband and navigating life post-breakup.
