List of shame as prolific thief banned from 17 Lancashire shops until 2026

A prolific shoplifter has been banned from entering 17 different stores across the Fylde coast over the next two years.

Tanya Tidswell was handed a criminal behaviour order until April 2026 following a string of shoplifting offences. The 44-year-old, of Portree Road, Blackpool, was also given a three-month prison sentence, suspended for 12 months.

Lancashire Constabulary said she appeared before magistrates yesterday (April 22) and was given the CBO which bans her from entering various stores, including Aldi, Morrisons, Co-op, Lidl, Home Bargains and B&M. They are all situated in either Blackpool, Thornton Cleveleys or Poulton-le-Fylde
