The BIGGEST night in the British music industry is taking place at London’s O2 this evening and Yahoo Celeb is reporting live from the heart of the prestigous ceremony to bring you all of the action as it happens!!!

Will The 2017 BRIT Awards see Beyoncé beat her sister Solange in the Best International Female category? Can Craig David make history and scoop the Best Solo Male Artist 16 years after he first won the prize?

Obviously we are so excited to see Little Mix lead the pack in three categories alongside Grime star Skepta and we already know that Robbie Williams has been honoured with the Icon Award, while performances tonight come from Ed Sheeran, Katy Perry and Little Mix.

9:50pm BRIT ICON Robbie Williams takes to the stage and everyone’s dancing! GO ON ROBBIE!

9:44pm The arena has gone silent for DAVID BOWIE’s son Duncan to speak.

He said: “I lost my dad last year but I also became a dad. And I was spending a lot of time trying to work out what would I want my son to know about his grandad?

“It would be the same thing that his fans have taken over the last 50 years.

“He’s been there supporting people who are a little big strange and a little bit weird. He’s always been there. This award is for the kooks, and all the people that made the kooks. Thanks BRITS.”

9:43pm Noel gallagher announces DAVID BOWIE wins Best Album for BLACKSTAR and Bowie’s son Duncan Jones takes the stage.

9.29pm Liam Payne accepts one directions best artist video of the year award for history and reassures fans 1D will be back.

9.19pm Chris Martin was ambushed by fans as he jumps into the crowd during surprise performance!
